SINUS

The unlimited number of individualized lying positions signifies the special feature from Sinus. The completely different concept of folding the lying surface goes without a catching raster and operates with tension, not compression. Inspired from a neck pillow or a massage table, your head will rest on a smooth moulded wooden ring. The design picks up the mood of a warmly round-shaped light wave of the sun in opposite to a clear straight characteristic of a shadow. Sinus is made out of bent aluminium tubes. The wavy carrying frame are two tubes symmetrically connected. The lying surface is composed of four parts connected with each other by using spring-loaded joints, which can be fixed to stiffen the frame. To fix diverse positions a wrapped rope ensure stability in tension, as well four rails prevent rotating of the lying frame and keeping it in line.
